A PE-owned, multi-billion dollar global software security service provider sought to develop a strategic plan and go-forward strategy for the company’s most profitable division but needed additional resources to do so.
HighPoint was engaged and deployed a team co-led by a former McKinsey Senior Partner who was head of that firm’s Systems and Technology Practices and a former Principal from the Technology practice who subsequently spent over 10 years in the software space.
The HighPoint team assessed the division’s current market and segment position, evaluated changing market and competitive dynamics, and analyzed the current strategic options for the division, including target market segments, product/service offerings, pricing models, brand alignment and consolidation, and overall implications and execution restraints.
At the project’s completion, the team transitioned to execution against the plan, and leadership of a pricing initiative for the company.
